State Champions!
My son's high school (and my husband's alma mater) won the state championship in football for their league. It was very exciting! A game and time our family will never forget!

Several years ago, we had the opportunity to host an exchange student from Mexico. He was here for two weeks, then my son went to stay with his family for two weeks. It was such a wonderful experience for all of us. It was arranged through the schools, so there were lots of exchange students here and we hosted a pumpkin carving party. We have stayed in touch with our student, hoping his sister could come this year. My daughter has gotten to know his sister online over the years. Unfortunately my daughter won't get the same experience, with the recent events in Mexico, but we sure had fun when Juan-Antonio was here! Maybe he'll come back one day.
